The Peterborough Social Planning Council (PSPC) has recently embarked on a research project that is investigating barriers to employment for vulnerable population groups as well as the prospects of establishing a non-profit temporary staffing agency to serve the Peterborough City and County. The recent PSPC`s living wage report found that the living wage for Peterborough is $17.65 per hour. This is the amount each of two adults living together with two dependent children must earn.
